Global is the USA Importer of Cat-A-Foil Motoryachts from Australia. Cat-A-Foil is a unique design from N.A. Derek Nobel. Originally designed for military applications (picture below), the hull design offers not only economy but also speed with smaller and lighter engines. With variations of engine sizes, the Cat-A-Foil will reach speeds in excess of 45 knots. The one shown below to the right is powered with a pair of CATERPILLAR 700 HP diesel engines and will attain speeds exceeding 30 knots.
