Listing and selling through Yachtioneer.com 1. Sellers (Banks, Consumers, Insurance companies, Recovery Agencies, Brokers and Marine Dealers) who have assets to sell are contact us either via e-mail, sales contact or on line. 2. Sellers and Buyers must first review and agree to Yachtioneer.com guidelines. 3. Sellers must provide descriptions and photos via Internet to Yachtioneer.com along with contact directions to the Seller. They must also sign the Listing agreement with Yachtioneer.com. Vessels involved in litigation will be put on a “Hold” for bidding. 4. Please keep in mind Yachtioneer.com is not a Repossession or Recovery Agency. All recovery services will be handled by licensed repossession agencies along with storage, repairs and any impending litigation on the vessel. Sellers wishing to negotiate with a Bank or other institution, to mitigate on their behalf and avoid repossession can do so through Yachtioneer.com 5. Sellers who are successful in the completion of a sale are to pay a 3% sales fee of the accepted bid/offer. 6. Taxes and fees for vessels sold and are kept in the State of Florida are to be paid for by the Buyer. Vessels that are kept in Florida for repairs only must provide a legitimate work order for such repairs. A state tax sticker will be provided for up to 30 days for a fee of $50. All other types of registration requirements are the responsibility of the Buyer. All vessels that require USCG Documentation or De-documentation will be handled by our Documentation office. The cost of Documentation services can vary. 7. Buyers from Yachtioneer.com will be required to have a Bidders Number assigned at no cost . This number will be good for one calendar year; it can be used for numerous bids and purchases in that calendar year. E-mail request for bidder number to jgiles@shipsandyachts.com 8. Highest Bidders will be required to Post a $1000. Refundable deposit for their Bid to be sent to the Seller. If Seller accepts the Bid additional deposit equal to 10% of the accepted bid will be Required. Closing must take place within 72 hours unless other conditions were arranged for at time of sale. A Purchase and Sales Agreement must also be signed by both the Seller and Buyer. 9. Inventory listed with other facilities and dealers will be subject to their fees and will be disclosed in the on line listing from such Seller. 10. Sellers who wish for a Licensed Broker to conclude the Sale with Yachtioneer.com will be charged an additional 3% of the accepted bid/offer.
