Bat, a company established in 1960 at Cologno Monzese, starts its activity as a yard specialized in the production of inflatable boats.
The first models produced were the 3.80, the 4.30 and the famous 5.25, better known as the "Bat 8" which has became a benchmark in the industry, being ahead of market trends and production technologies: the 60 cm tubes assured in fact a buoyancy and an exceptional seaholding that still today are the envy of many inflatable boats producers.
The sporting soul that animated the company, inspired the production of competition boats (racing catamarans) that made Bat famous not only by winning the Italian Championship but also by scoring several record still unbeaten. Thanks to the achieved results, the Yard was then capable of producing models with a new concept of hull. Furthermore, just to mention one of the numerous innovations brought to the market, Bat has been the first company to introduce the square prow, an element that combines the advantages of an original design with the practical functionality of having more space on board.
Today Bat is internationally well-known and operates in the italian and foreign market through a widespread dealership network. The Company strategy is continuously focused in the designing and construction of boats that are distinguished for their quality and reliability without forgetting style and a special care for details.
